Civitatem – Patch Notes ver A 0.611

Hi Guys,

Updated: I deployed a hotfix 0.612 for this version. There was a problem with resources selected not all being gathered by the villagers. Download and start a new game if you encountered this bug.

I am sure there are still more bugs in behaviors, i am testing and fixing every day, but i believe this version its much more stable than the previous one. Most likely i will release a few small patches in the next few days, while the next major patch should be released at the beginning of the next month.

Here are the patch notes for Civitatem A 0.611:


New or improved:

– Time now passes 40% slower
– Timers for actions have been tweaked
– Villagers needs decay slower and start with higher values on food, energy and water
– All skills are now increased while a villager successfully perform an action (skills reduces the time an action takes to complete and in the future versions, it will even increase the carrying capacity of the villager)
– Added daily needs reactions and a some info on page 7 of the help window.
– Village retain their previous job when they woke up in the morning and finish their home chores, or during the daily reactions to food, water
– Villagers tools now decay
– Action buttons like Cut Tree, Mine resources, remain now active even after an area has been drawn. Right click will cancel their behavior, or by pressing another action, or closing the window.
– Game speed can now be resumed to previous speed with the same key (space) if the game speed is set to slow.
– Add more status messages for villagers
– Each Spring, a small portion of the small trees grow big and some of bushes regenerate with berries.
– Seeds are now global, not stored at the Barn, so you can plant seeds without the barn if you have a fiel.
– tweaked the ambient sound loops and fades.


Bug fixes:

– Fixed several villagers behaviors bugs
– Fixed some problems with the ingame menu
– Fixed a problem with restarting layout where villagers didn’t spawned
– Fixed a problem with early adopters names not being chosen on restart
– Fixed some overlaps with environment and other villagers + some on restart
– Fixed a problem with UI for resolutions over 1920 (will approach this more in the future, to make it more scalable and full screen for very large resolutions)
– Fixed a problem with villagers dropping res on the ground
– Fixed a problem with villagers inventory having too many resources or going on negative.
– Fixed a problem with villagers waking in the middle of the night and getting stuck.
– Fixed a problem with villagers building wells.
– Fixed some problems roads and speed
– Fixed stockpile showing no graphical resources even when not empty
– Fixed a problem with house showing wrong inventory
– Fixed a bug where you couldn’t assign a specialist job through the villager UI
– Fixed a few errors in the tutorials texts

Misc:

– if a builder is not doing anything for a some time, check if you have all the materials necessary at the stockpile.
– if a villager is not stuck in a object (like over a house, mountain, or on top of tree) but is not moving for some time, you can try to unstuck him, by changing his job (click on him, click on the Job icon near his name, select (…) for idle, and then select the job you want him to do.)
– you can manually change the job of a specific villager by clicking on him, and then the job icon near his name (if you cant, the villager is doing something on his own). At the same time if you press his portrait in this window it will scroll to him. If you click on his name, it will show the rest of his family and if you click on them they will be highlighted.
– in tutorial when it mentions bottom left, i actually meant bottom right (i forgot to patch this)
