Civitatem – Update A 2.45 is Now Live!
My fellow Village Elders,
This small update was released to improve further the core mechanics of Civitatem and the features added in A 2.40 update.

New/Improved:
– Villagers now receive damage from malnutrition or lack of water, one every few in-game minutes, not all at once, and they only receive this damage once per season.
– Improved the refresh, assignment and status of jobs, when on Paused mode (normal difficulty).
– When kid event dies give more details(his name).
– Scrolling to a villager or event, zooms the camera closer to see what is happening.
– Added the game goal at Village Morale tool tip (when hovering with the mouse over the village morale UI bar).
– When choosing a job, the job window now closes to prevent confusion on other villagers.
– Font size + option now adds font size to tool tips, tutorial, inspect window and more.
– On Normal difficulty, during the first year, villagers don’t receive damage if they sleep outside in winter, same with the lack of wood at the house.
– Now you can’t assign jobs if a villager has no tools. He will act like a handy man (carries stuff from the ground to the stockpile) until he receives tools from a blacksmith.
– Villagers that have no jobs, will try to help the village by carrying resource to the stockpile.
– Food smoking is now reserved when a farmer is assign to this task.

– Improved the road building on Pause.
Bugs:
fixed a rare bug when a villager was blocked over a building foundation.
fixed some hints appearance, added more info and fixed some timers(research).
fixed a bug where villagers woke up when they sleept outside and the player was changing jobs.
Herbalist doesn’t go to get food if he is carrying somebody (wounded).
fixed a bug where you needed 2 salts instead of 1 to smoke meat.
fixed a problem with the game resetting options(music volume and others) on load.
fixed some problems with villagers retaking a job.
fixed a bug with hunter getting stuck in trees.
fixed a bug with the herbalist refusing to gather herbs when wounded.
fixed a bug with people trying to leave the village even if they had a house.
fixed a bug where the game was spawning more beds then needed.
